The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.


You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. robotvacuummops is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when away from home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
