As an individual aspiring to be in the national honor society, the values of scholarship, service, leadership and character are closely represented in me as an individual. I show scholarship through my constant involvement in school events, strive for educational opportunities, high standards and goals. Not only that but whether it be attending classes, having 100% attendances or putting in that extra effort, I am always focused on my schooling. I show service by volunteering, being there in others their time of need and participating in communal activities. Though personally, just the feeling of being that helping hand, and doing good for others really provides me with a natural sense of accomplishment. Something that I hope to constantly achieve, in the national honors society. I show leadership by understanding its importance in both a personal and professional settings, and actively seeking roles where I will be able to strive. Slowly developing essential skills like teamwork, clear communication and problem-solving. Lastly, I show character by prioritizing and maintaining my moral compass. Helping me to build a good overall trust and credibility amongst my fellow pears and community. All in all, these four values are vital to my personal growth, and help me in becoming a well-rounded member of my community.
