Taong 2023-2024 sa Pilipinas ay pormal na nagsimula ang pag aaral
noong martes, ika-19 ng Agosto 2023 at magtatapos sa biyernes ,ika-14 ng hunyo 2024,
ipinatupad ito upang maibalik ang lumang kalendaryo ng paaralan ng Hunyo-Marso kasunod ng mga panukala
mula sa mga stakeholder ng edukasyon,Nauna nang hiniling ng "Teachers’ Dignity Coalition" TDC sa DepEd na repasuhin ang kasalukuyang kalendaryo ng paaralan sapagkat
maraming estudyante at guro ang nagrereklamo ng mainit na panahon sa
loob ng mga paaralan lalo na sa panahon ng tag init.
