Q-difference between modem and router?
A modem is a box that connects your home network to your internet service provider. A router is a box that lets all of your wired and wireless devices use that internet connection at once and allows them to talk to one another directly.

A modem is a device that connects your home, usually through a coax cable connection, to your Internet service provider like Xfinity.
A router connects your devices to each other and, in hard-wired connection setups, to the modem. The router connects to your modem and then to your devices (laptops, smart TVs, printers, etc.) via either an Ethernet cable or, in the case of a wireless router, WiFi signal.

Q- What are WiFi Boost Pods and how do they work?
WiFi Boost Pods are devices that can be paired with a compatible xFi Gateway to create a mesh WiFi network in your home. Pods help eliminate areas where WiFi coverage drops or is weak, also known as "dead spots." They provide extended, more consistent WiFi coverage throughout your entire home.
Pods can be purchased by eligible Xfinity Internet customers with a compatible xFi Gateway at an Xfinity Retail Store or online at xfinity.com/xfipods.
*How much do Pods cost?
If you are an eligible customer, you can purchase a Pod for $119 or two Pods for $199.

Q- what is xfi complete-
xFi Complete includes the following features with your activated, leased Xfinity Gateway: a WiFi Boost Pod (if needed), Advanced Security on the Go, and access to the Tech Upgrade program.*
xFi Complete is priced at $25 per month, including the rental of the gateway and internet or bundle fees
Advanced Security on the go provides safe browsing and data protection to your compatible iOS (iOS14 or later) or Android (Android 10 or later) mobile devices when you’re not connected to your home network. Safe browsing prevents you from accessing risky websites whenever and wherever you access the internet on your device.
When you upgrade your in-home WiFi with xFi Complete, you’ll receive a WiFi assessment to check your WiFi coverage.
