Sistem duel yang digunakan di a_h disebut 'Turn based' atau kalau para gamer biasanya mengetahui istilah itu sebagai menyerang bergantian. Dalam sistem ini dikenal HP ( Health point, semacam status darah kalian) dan MP (Magic point, status energi untuk meluncurkan mantra). Lawan dikatakan kalah jika, HP sudah mencapai nilai 0 atau dibawahnya.

- Equipment
Equipment istilahnya adalah atribut untuk mendukung kita dalam duel. Equipment biasanya menambah efek ada mantra kita atau mengurangi damage lawan. Equipment sendiri dibagi menjadi beberapa: Armor, Akse, dan suit.
Dalam equipment ada beberapa istilah yang sering dipakai
1. Attack = adalah menambah efek mantra yang akan kita rapalkan pada lawan.
2. Defence= Mengurangi efek mantra yang lawan rapalkan kepada kita.
3. Null = tidak terkena efek mantra yang dirapal. Tetapi null sendiri ada beberapa macam dan itu berpengaruh pada jenis mantra yang dirapalkan.
4. Absord : efek HP mantra yang dirapalkan lawan akan menambah status HP kita.
5. Repel : efek akan balik ke pemantra.
