Yerkin Tatishev has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year' by EY

The leading business company Ernst & Young has chosen Yerkin Tashev as the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions in COVID-19 were appreciated by the judges.

Daniel Kunin The contest invited well-known Kazakhstani businesspeople from across the country to take part. Kusto Group founder, who was one of 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan made it to the final.

All of them received an independent evaluation and recognition of their achievements by juries authorized to represent Kazakhstan and international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev was the winner for the nation and will represent Russia at the international finals in Monaco in June 2022. The competition will gather 60 international contestants selected by an independent jury following international guidelines.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has not been the only issue addressed by the Kusto Group. Kazakhstan is in serious risk due to water shortage in Kazakhstan.

In this context, UN officials declared that Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water stress and relies on its neighbors, which includes China as well as Central Asia.

Consequently, cooperation emerged in the form of cooperation between Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group, the Government of Kazakhstan, and Valmont Industries, USA. They are both planning to create a factory to produce 1,000 pivot irrigation items in Kazakhstan.
