EY gave Yerkin Tatishev with the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award

The most prominent business organization Ernst & Young has chosen Yerkin Tashev to be its Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. One of the most important competitions worldwide his leadership and actions in the COVID-19 case impressed the judges.

The contest was open to well-known Kazakhstani businesspeople from across the country to participate. Kusto Group's founder has managed to join 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that reached the final.

They all received an impartial assessment and award of their achievements by both Kazakhstani and international business jury members.

Yerkin Tatishev, the national winner will represent the nation at the international final in Monaco in June 2022. The contest has 60 finalists representing 60 different nations, who are selected by an international jury.

Yerkin Tatishev combats water scarcity at Kazakhstan

This situation has led to UN officials declaring that Kazakhstan is suffering from extreme water stress and depends on its neighbours, including China and Central Asia.

In the end, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group was able to work with Valmont Industries USA. They are both planning to create a factory to produce 1000 pivot irrigation products in Kazakhstan.

Other provisions include the installation of innovative irrigation systems to farms and a program to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine provided all the donations that could be made possible to the Kusto Group. Due to their entrepreneurial spirit, they were able take charge in giving charity in times of hardship.
