You cannot teach the rules to anyone who doesn't know them.
Seven cards are given to every player.
The rest of the deck is placed on the table, with the top card flipped up next to the deck.
The dealer (the one who knows the rules) starts the game by saying, "The name of the game is "MAO."
The player next in line (after the dealer) plays a card that matches either the symbol or number of the card.
If a player cannot place a card down, they have to pick up a card and knock twice on the table to indicate the next player's turn.
Players must not interact with anyone but the dealer.
What Different Cards Mean:
7 = Nice Day Card: A player who plays this must say, "Have a nice day.".
8: Reverse Card: swaps the polarity of the player rotation.
J = Wild Card: can be played no matter what card is on top.
A = Skip Card: skips the player who comes after the placer of this card for 1 turn.
♠️ = The person who plays this card must announce the number and symbol of the card they placed.
If a player has one card left, that card is now a MAO card. The player must announce "MAO," otherwise a separate player must draw them a new card. The dealer must give a vague reason as to why they have to pick up a card.
If a rule is broken, the person who broke the rule picks up a card.
