Taylors Lazy Sunday coffee beans are slow-roasted to develop the aromas of creamy milk chocolate and delicate citrus to create a soft, easy-going style. Whether you're pressing pause during the week or winding down on the weekend, a amount of this smooth roast goes a long way to relaxing your mind and body.
1kg coffee beans is available in 2 x 1kg bags. Suitable for espresso or filter. Taylors is a British company. Fairtrade certified. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Roasting
Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy to taste. It mellows, and turns into a warm hug to your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes for balance. The result is a cup that can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.
We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After making the coffee, let it sit for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been saturated and are not over-extracted. The water should then be forced through the grounds by the plunger, but do not stir or stir the coffee, as this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.
Strength - 3, gentle and easy going, great for relaxing at the weekend.
Storage
Lazy Sunday is a smooth light roast that has citrus, sweet and cocoa smell. It has a silky mouthfeel that sooths the palette. The cocoa notes can be traced to the days of winter sitting on the sofa reading a good book and the warmth of a hug from the family. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This is recommended to stop the coffee from over extracting and creating unwanted elements in your drink. Then add your grounds and 250ml of water that is off the boil. For four minutes, simmer, plunge, and enjoy.
