The purpose of this systematic review was to find student success stories and factors that lead to student achievement in math competitions. Carefully selecting pertinent publications from databases like Springer, ResearchGate, and ERIC was part of the review process, and we have gathered 15 in ERIC, 7 in Springer, and 25 in ResearchGate for a total of 47 articles. After being initially found and examined, 14 articles in ERIC, 6 in Springer, and 22 in ResearchGate, for a total of 42 publications, were rejected for scope misalignment or lack of full-text availability. In the end, 1 article in ERIC, 1 in Springer, and 3 in ResearchGate, for a total of 5 articles that offered insightful information on the topic, were included in the review.

Limitation
In conducting this review, many limitations were identified due to its limited time and insufficient access; the researcher could not fully find a link to the database. This study only analyzed five articles retrieved from Eric, Springer, and ResearchGate. It would be great if they looked at the effects of math competitions on the participants personally. (Read)
