Roast

The final stage is the time at which the majority of coffees are regarded as city roasts.

The roasted beans then cool and are then separated from any stones or other impurities that have been ejected from the roaster. Then they are checked by hand and then bagged to be sold. Certain beans may have a dark spot, referred to as a quaker.
