Roast

The roasted beans then cool and are then separated from any impurities or stones that have been removed from the roaster. They are then examined by hand prior to being packaged and sold. Some beans have a dark spot called a quaker. These beans didn't change color and taste burnt. This is a typical condition and does not necessarily mean that the coffee is bad.
