NEW MG4 ELECTRIC Wins Prestigious Thailand's 2023 EV of the Year Honor while Emerges at the Top among EVs Meeting Local Buyers' Requirements
The Thai capital, 23rd of November, 2023 – The manufacturers and distributors of MG vehicles in Thailand, revealed its achievement after the MG4 ELECTRIC became the First electric vehicle to clinch the Thailand EV of the Year 2023 award, an honor presented from the Thai Automotive Journalists Association (Thai Auto Journalists). This recognition stemmed from the ballots cast by experienced auto journalists, while NEW MG4 ELECTRIC also garnered the highest votes among Thai consumers naming it their preferred electric vehicle that meets consumer needs from BUSINESS+'s 2023 Product of the Year Awards. This reflects the achievement of MG's creation of cars capable of assisting to elevate Thailand's auto sector more sustainable and consumer-oriented future.

Mr. Pongsak Lertrudeewattanavong, VP at MG Thailand, said, "NEW MG4 ELECTRIC represents a global model that is packed with new automotive technologies, ranging from its dedicated EV platform, where the EV battery pack is integrated as one unit into the car's structure enhancing protection, to it being the only one in its segment offering RWD, combined with featuring a low-slung stance enabling a thrilling and surefooted driving experience through the turns. Additionally, it boasts CELL TO PACK battery technology that dissipates heat better for more optimized energy output. mg4 is equipped with comprehensive safety technologies that both prevent crashes but also protect passengers should a collision occur. It has a maximum range of 425 kilometers (as per NEDC cycle) and is priced under 1 million baht."
