Notes

This is a story about our house almost burning down. This happened last fourth of July.
It was a warm and windy day on fourth of July. I was sleeping peacefully on the couch excited that I was going to watch fireworks that day, but then my mom woke me up yelling at me to get out of the house. I was confused I don't know why she was yelling at me to get out of the house. I just sat there clueless then my mom screamed for me to get out of the house again I was even more scared and confused. I saw my mom run upstairs to get my sister that was sleeping in her bed. I just ran out of the house then I saw my dad crying I asked him what was happening, and he said that he called the fire department and that in the attic there was a fire. I started crying as well just because I realized that we might not have a home and that our cats were still in there. Mom told me that she locked them in the basement far away from the fire. The fire fighters got to our house 3 minutes later. They broke into our attic and took care of the fire, but then I realized something the attic door was in my room. When the fire fighters left, we went inside to see what was happened to our rooms and they were destroyed. It has been 10 months even since that happened everyone is fine the cats were fine. Our rooms are back to normal, and we don't ever talk about the fire. What caused our fire was our ceiling fan the two wires that were rubbing together caused our house to start on fire. That's the story of The Fire that Happened on Fourth of July.
