The Product Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 15, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card. For authorized online resellers where no physical media is shipped, the Product Key is usually included in an emailed purchase receipt.

[h1]How do I get a Key?[/h1]
There's many ways to get one, As for Steam wise, Currently, Product keys is only applicable to developers to provide users to get their programs first hand for various purposes, such as beta testing etc. Since this guide is specifically for the people of Yolo Army, The keys are provided to you which we get from the developers we work with.

[h1]Activating a key[/h1]
Here would be the step by step guide on how to activate a product key

[b] First, You have to open Steam client. [u]Note, This does not work on browsers[/u][/b]

Open your client window. Users using the default Steam will have their top bar exactly like this -

As for people who uses skins for their Steam client, The option for activating a product key can be found as seen in the image attached below. You may begin to follow the steps below. [u]Do note, Various skins may reposition this option.[/u]

Hover over to your "Games" bar on your Top bar and a drop down bar will appear as the image shows. Click onto "Activate a Product on Steam" as seen below

Next, A window will pop up as seen in the image attached below. Click onto the next and you'd be asked to agree to their T&Cs.

Once you've agreed, you'd be seeing the same exact window was seen in the image attached. In it will contain a text box for you to paste the code. Once you've pasted the code, hit "Next"

Upon adding the code and hitting "Next", 3 types of windows will appear

1) Activation Successful
2) Invalid Key
3) Used Key
4) Program already exists

If you encounter the window as seen in the image attached below, It means the key has been successfully redeemed and the program you've claimed will be seen as what's circled there. Do note, different key(s) will redeem different products.

If you encounter the window as seen in the image attached below, It means the product key you've entered is unsuccessfully activated due to it not being a valid key. Meaning the key isn't even a legitimate key, probably a clusters of numbers put together.

If you encounter the window as seen in the image attached below, It means the product key you've entered is a legitimate key. Sadly someone has used it before, hence you won't be able to get access to the desired program. You could contact back the person who gave you the code and request for an additional one.

If you encounter the window as seen in the image attached below, It means the code you've entered is for a program that already exists in your Library, Clicking next will show you the name if it's not downloaded or launching the program if it's been downloaded. They key will remain un-used which means you can share it with a friend or inform the person whom you've gotten the key from so he can give it to someone else.
