Twilight Princess: 11 Things You've Forgotten To Do
Twilight Princess Game Review

Twilight Princess is the darkest, most serious and most serious Nintendo 3D Zelda game. It pushes graphical presentation on the Wii to the limits of. It's darker and more disturbing than The Wind Waker. There aren't any bug-eyed pigs nor effeminate Pirates.

Link is pulled into a dimension that is called Twilight Realm, where he takes the form of a Hylian and a wolf, while being guided by Midna.

Gameplay

The thirteenth and final installment of The Legend of Zelda is Twilight Princess. It was released in 2006 for the Nintendo GameCube system and Wii. The game was highly acclaimed by critics, and received perfect scores from several publications including 1UP, CVG, EGM, and GamesRadar. It is regarded by many as the best games in the franchise, and it was the top-selling Zelda game on the PAL market.

Twilight Princess has a naturalistic, stylized graphics style similar to Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, but with a more sophisticated graphic engine. Twilight princess is the first game in the series to feature a fully directional movement control system, instead of a fixed view like the previous games. This modification was made to accommodate the Wii console, which features an interface based on pointing. The GameCube version of the game comes with an area in the back with mirror-image maps for those who prefer the traditional fixed view.

When entering the Twilight Realm, Link is transformed into a wolf, and then meets Midna, a mysterious creature. She informs Link that the kingdom of Hyrule is now under the control of a group shadow beasts led the evil sorcerer Zant. She also explains that she is the true ruler of Twili however, she was supplanted and cursed to her current form by Zant.

When Link and Midna arrive at Hyrule Castle, a short cut scene shows the soldiers there being killed by the shadow creatures. Then, Link and Midna escape from the castle via a tunnel and enter the Twilight Realm.

In the Twilight Realm, Link can use his wolf form to move more freely throughout the world. Additionally, he can use his senses to navigate through the world. He can hear the ghosts of soldiers and animals in the distance. Link can also pick grass from certain patches and then whistle with it to call an animal, such as a Hawk or Epona. Alternately, Link can howl near these patches to summon the same animal.

As with earlier Zelda games music plays a significant role in Twilight Princess. Link can play an instrument that is musical, such as the flute or harp, to draw and call on various animals. Link can also use his voice to command the wolf's form. In addition, he can use his compasses to guide him through the world and keep him from getting lost.

Characters

The Legend of Zelda is full of colorful and unique characters that leave an impression that will last forever. These quirky and unique characters that emerge from toilets to pirates sailing across vast oceans, are the heart of the game. Twilight Princess continues in the tradition of previous games, and introduces numerous memorable characters.

Throughout starlight princess max win , Link meets new NPCs that are not just fascinating, but also credible. It's a huge step forward that so many of these NPCs aren't just victims, but actually are a part of the story. NPCs like Rusl, who explains how the forest is becoming more dangerous and kidnaps children, or the Ordon villager who snoop around as wolves while the children are kidnapped They all have distinct personalities that seem genuine.

Other notable characters include Iza who runs the Boat Rental Cabin as well as Iza's Rapid Ride in the Lanayru Province, Louise, Telma's cat, who assists Wolf Link locate a secret passageway through her bar as well as sewer system into the castle, and Faron who's spirit helps guide Link and Midna to the Forest Temple in the Eldin Province. The two team members defeat the Fused Shadow possessed by Diababa and gains the first Tear of Light.

Midna, the princess of the Twilight Realm, is also one of the most intriguing characters in the game. She is a part of the Triforce of Wisdom and can switch between her human and her impish wolf form. She shares with Link about her experience in the twilight, and about how she defeated Zant the King of Twilight.

Zant who holds the other part of the Triforce of Wisdom, is an evil sorcerer and the ruler of the Twilight Realm. He was banished to the Twilight Realm by the goddesses for encroaching on their land and enslaving people. Midna can dispel Zant's power allowing him to change into his human form when needed.

The game also features an upgraded horse, called Epona that can be riding in Hylian and wolf forms. Link can whistle near specific patches of grass to call the animal. (similar to Majora’s Mask). The player can name the horse which makes Twilight Princess the first time in the series where the player can personalize their own horse.

Theme

Music is an integral part of any Zelda title. It can make a game appear epic exciting, expansive, and captivating. However, Twilight Princess is criticized for having an inconsistent and sporadic soundtrack that doesn't convey the emotional impact of certain scenes. Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask and other games have captivating music that explode at the right moment to create a feeling of grandness and eerie.

Twilight Princess was composed by Asuka Ohta and Toru Minegishi. Koji Kondo, the composer of the series' first time since Wind Waker, was responsible for overseeing the composers. The soundtrack for Twilight Princess is a bold departure from the usual approach to the franchise with an approach that is minimalist in terms of melody and arrangement. The majority of dungeon and field themes begin with a single instrument, creating an atmospheric and mysterious atmosphere for the player. Midna's Lament, for instance utilizes a simple keyboard to create a sense of sadness for the player.

Dungeon themes are the most prominent examples of this trend towards minimalism, with numerous Dungeons displaying a dark and ominous atmosphere. This is evident in the Twilight Realm theme, which has a sonic landscape that would be at home on a David Lynch film. The absence of melody and the traditional arrangement of this track enhances its ominous, spooky nature. Drones and bizarre patterns intertwine to create a bleak texture.

Link's song from his hometown, "Faron Woods," is a more energetic and joyful track. The song makes use of a variety of gentle sounds and strings to create a peaceful and secure feeling for the player. The song also has a subtle reference to the franchise's most famous scene, since it has an riff that is similar to the iconic tune that plays at the beginning of Ocarina of Time.

There are also some dynamic songs in Twilight Princess that change depending on where the player is, what they are doing, and what's going on. Hyrule Castle Town has different versions of its theme for each area of the town. Central Square, for instance, has a more raucous version. These variations are a great feature that adds an element of depth and immersion to the world of Hyrule.

Story

Link's mission in Twilight Princess is to save Hyrule from the corrupted parallel universe known as the Twilight Realm. To accomplish this, Link takes on the forms of an Hylian, the form of a Wolf and is aided by a woman called Midna.

Midna was the first ruler of Twili but she was usurped and cursed by Zant into her imp form. Link and Midna are informed by the Sages of the Old Testament that only by defeating Ganondorf will be capable of releasing them from their curse. The Sages then reveal that the Mirror of Twilight is the source of the darkness in the Twilight Realm. Midna and Link travel to the Spirit's Spring, where they encounter dangerous monsters who kidnap children. Wolf Link's keen ear helps them track the children's scent to a nearby bridge that they cross over into the Twilight Realm.

They enter the Forest Temple and battle Diababa and win the first Fused Shadow. Faron then informs them of the next destination, which is the Eldin Province in the west (Wii) or east (GCN).

At the Lakebed Temple in Lanayru, Midna is able to teleport Link to a fiery rock and uses her power to melt the ice in the bottom of Lake Hylia. The spirit of the recently deceased Zora Queen, Rutela, then appears and informs Link that he has to visit the Lakebed Temple in order to gain access to the treasures of Zora.

Returning from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, the horse Epona can be again riding in Twilight Princess. Link can choose the name of the horse, a change from the predetermined names in the previous games.

Upon arriving in the Twilight Realm, Midna and Link take back the remaining Mirror Shards. The Sages reveal to Midna that she is the true ruler of the Twili. She was passed over for the monarchy, and had turned to a power-hungry god. The Sages also tell them that the only way to defeat Ganondorf is to bring him back to the light and break the pact between Twilight and Hyrule kingdoms.
