Buddha Jayanti, or Buddha Purnima, commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Buddha. This auspicious day is a celebration of joy, introspection, and community harmony. Our event at Yonge-Dundas Square will highlight the rich heritage of our indigenous traditions and the enduring spirit of Buddhism that has guided our community for generations.
A highlight of the celebration will be a traditional performance featuring cultural dances of Buddhism, adorned with intricate deity masks. This vibrant display of our spiritual heritage promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees. We believe that your presence would underscore Brampton's commitment to celebrating multiculturalism and embracing diverse cultural traditions.
