On ing's class, Communication 3 - Critical Thinking through Argumentation and Debate which begins at 7:30 A.M., I was not able to attend and take Quiz #1 because I got sick, specifically with the flu. I understand that I should've contacted you last night when the symptoms began, but I didn't expect to get sick by morning, I rarely get sick. Other members in my family got the flu before me, I believe I caught It from them. I had decided to not go to class, even my high school classes, because my headache and body aches weren't even allowing me to get out of bed. I stayed in bed all morning, didn't get up until 2:00 P.M. I wasn't able to go to my doctors because everyone in my household was at work, except my father, but even he couldn't take me because he also has the flu. I've been taking Flanax, a pain reliever, It has immensely taken away most of my pain. My step mother bought the medication this afternoon, otherwise I would've the pill this morning. I understand that as my Instructor you decide whether or not a make-up is permitted, and I was really hoping that If a chance Is permitted to take Quiz #1, I would be completely grateful. Thank you for your time and consideration.
