Motels have been around for more than 100 years. Although they come in many shapes and sizes, there are certain differences. Motels don't allow pets. Another historic site is the Meeks Farm which operated from 1866 to 1870 as a farming and riding post. If you take this route, it will be in the same vicinity of the new bypassed highway.

The Grand Prairie at Montrose is a beautiful spot to photograph if you're traveling through Texas. This town is located on the Perimeter Highway. It is an old state highway that has been closed by the new I-35E. Just look for the sign for Silverado Trail RV Park on the right side of this highway and you will find a motel right in front of the location. To enjoy the magnificent views, you will need to stop at Damsel's Rock.

Colorado has many beautiful places to stay in a hotel for lovers. The historic Old Town in Denver is home to the 18th century Denver Opera House along with The National Historic Landmark called the Denver Art Museum. These sites are within an easy driving distance from downtown Denver. The Grants Pass Resort is also in this area, but it is not open year round due to the Rocky Mountain Front hitting the base of the Pass.
