Each Peterbald cat has very different colors and markings, making them all unique. There are four different classifications of hair in the Peterbald breed. Bald means that they are virtually hairless, flock describes a cat with short, downy hair, a cat with velour fur has hair that is between one and five millimeters long, and brush fur describes a cat with curly, wiry hair. Though all of the Peterbalds have some form of hair, many of them eventually lose it with age.
