Excessive video game playing can interfere with concentration on academic work. We forget to study when we're engrossed in a game, which makes us perform worse in class. In addition, excessive gaming time impairs time management skills and increases stress levels.

For us to address this issue, we must comprehend how excessive gaming affects our academic performance. Additionally, we ought to think that studying more than playing games will help us perform better. We can begin by establishing boundaries for ourselves, such as determining when it is appropriate to study and when it is not. Setting a peaceful area away from gaming distractions can aid in improving our ability to focus when studying. To maintain our motivation and focus, we can also treat ourselves when we perform well in school.

Additionally, talking to friends and family about our goals can provide support and encouragement. Seeking help from teachers or counselors if gaming becomes a big problem can also be useful. And finally, finding other hobbies or activities that we enjoy, besides gaming, can help balance our time better and make us happier overall.
