Please make at least one selection under the Dietary Needs/Preferences section and/or specify any needs/preferences not listed. If you do not have dietary needs/preferences, select "I do not have any special dietary needs".

First-Year Mandatory Meal Plan

It is an exciting time to dine at Georgia Tech! This coming fall, Tech Dining will start its fourth year of self-operated dining, focused on continuous improvement and meeting the needs of our Yellow Jacket community. Starting Fall 2024 we are excited to announce our new Flex Meal Plan that gives first year students the ability to eat in residential dining hall as well as receiving more dining dollars to eat at retail locations on campus.

First-year residential students are required to purchase a meal plan—and because of this, Tech Dining promises to do everything possible to make the dining experience the best it can be. Look forward to these dining essentials as we begin the fall 2024 semester:

Everyday All Access meal plans allow unlimited meal swipes at the North Ave, Brittain and West Village dining halls.
The old Weekday All Access Meal Plan will be replaced with our Flexible Meal Plan that includes 200 meal passes for use in the residential dining halls and $812 dining dollars to be used in retail locations on campus.
Dining halls will start meal plans early for Week of Welcome participants for no additional cost!
To provide flexibility, Everyday meal plans allow one takeout meal a day from any dining hall.
Dining Dollars included with your meal plan purchase roll-over from summer to fall to spring semesters and then expire at the end of the spring semester. They can be used at all retail establishments, as well as all vending machines and food trucks.
Meal Passes will not roll-over each semester.
As a first-year resident, please choose from the following two plans (prices subject to slightly change:

Everyday All-Access Plan: includes unlimited meals at all 3 residential dining halls (7 days a week), 7 takeout meals per week from dining halls and $250 Dining Dollars. Price: $2,977.
Flexible Meal Plan: includes 200 Meal Passes for use at all 3 residential dining halls and $812 Dining Dollars. Price: $2,977.

Additional Dining Dollars

Many students take advantage of adding additional Dining Dollars at the time of meal plan selection since they can be used at any dining location on campus, are sales tax exempt, are the primary tender for retail dining locations, and roll over from the summer to fall to spring semester. NOTE: Meal plans will be billed to the student account at the same time as all other housing fees and associated charges. If you wish to make changes to your selected meal plan, please log back into this portal and make changes until 7/1. After that date, all changes can be made through mealplan.gatech.edu until the posted deadline listed on the dining website. Click here.

Selected first-year plans will automatically renew for the spring semester.
