My name is Meggy Onga, and I am the research leader for Group 3 in our Practical Research 1 class. We are conducting a study to explore the academic perceptions of Grade 11 STEM students who face difficulties with differentiation of functions in basic calculus.
We are interested in understanding both the experiences and views of students who find this topic challenging. Your name was suggested as a potential participant by our basic calculus instructor because your insights would be valuable to our research. We used purposive sampling to select participants who can provide rich and informative data relevant to our study.

To gather necessary information, we would like to conduct an interview with you sometime this week. We want to ensure this experience is convenient for you, so you have the following options:
* *Schedule:* Choose a time that works best with your existing commitments.
* *Interview Mode:* Select your preferred platform – a face-to-face interview within the school premises (at a location of your choice) or an online interview through a platform you prefer (please specify the platform).

We prioritize the privacy of all participants. Your involvement in this research will be used solely for this study and will not be used for any other purposes. We will handle your data with the utmost responsibility.
