How to Reprogram a Skoda Key Fob
Many people are wondering how to reprogramme the car key fob if they don't know what caused it to stop working. It's normal for key fobs to get damaged or jammed when they're jostled.
The first thing to try is to change the battery. If you're not able to get it to work, it could be time for an upgrade.
1. Turn off the ignition.
If your key fob has stopped working in the last few days, it's likely that the battery has to be replaced. The batteries are affordable and easy to replace, so this is the first step before trying to reprogram your key.
Make sure that the car is off and that all doors are closed. Insert your current key in the ignition and then turn the switch to "On". It is not recommended to start the engine.

If you delay, it could result in it failing.
3. Press the Lock Button

6. Press the Lock Button
