Nordstrom's NYC flagship store will feature eight black-owned businesses at an in-store market this February 14 through March 6. The market is curated and includes clothing, food and home items from Caribbean lifestyle-inspired Chen Burkett New York, soulful clothing label Savant Studios, heavy metal jewelry brand Heavy Metals NYC, Modish Decor Pillows and Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel.

Jean-Baptiste joined forces with a women-only group in Haiti to make her crochet bags made of 100 100% rayon fringe, cotton net, and leather handles. They spend up to 12 hours on one bag.

Vavvoune is a Brooklyn-based brand is known for its distinctive shapes and maximalist color palette. This fringe crossbody is not an exception. Choose the Michelle tote from the label that features a geometric pattern with a beveled edge and a matching pouch.

Valerie Blaise
