The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be removed regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. automatic vacuum can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.


Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house.
