What makes you qualified for this role?

I have experience in editing and poster making, as well as advertising for events that my church or youth group organizes and things in the creativity field in general which I feel could be useful for this position.

What are your plans for if you are officer?

If I get elected as officer, I plan to create a more interactive community. Using social media as a way to connect to members and non-members, engaging with them with things such as updates on the fashion industry. Such as when fashion week typically around February and March, posting snippets of shows taking place. Overall to create a better social media outreach.

How do you plan to manage being an officer with your other duties?

Well I'd say time management is something generally needed for a balanced schedule. I'd like to say I'm quite an organized person. With reminders, notes, things written on my calendar. For instance, every Monday & Thursday I have taekwondo and I schedule my schoolwork, study time, and other responsibilities around it to make sure I've gotten to all the tasks I need to do with my daily checklist.

What does fashion mean to you?

When you use fashion properly, it can be your confidence boost, your way to express what you can't say, and for me in a lot of ways it's been a subject of comfort. Its art. It involves design, architecture, and other factors that construct this medium of expression.

Why do you want to apply for this role?

I've always loved fashion; I've always wanted to do something concerning fashion. Since third grade I was like you know what I'm set on becoming a fashion designer. And when my sister was attending this school and she mentioned there was a fashion club I knew immediately I wanted to join when I reached this school.

What is your favorite thing that fashion club has done this year?

Well I always enjoy winterfest, but this year the Multi Expo collaboration really stuck out to me. It was a great way to showcase diversity and cultural aspects in fashion.
