The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

website is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.


The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
