La palabra resveratrol deriva de la palabra latin RES que procede de la planta VERATRUM GRANDIFLORUM, de sus raices se aislo por primera vez este compuesto y el sufijo OL que indica la presencia de hidroxilos en la molecula.

el resveratrol tiene propiedades que contribuyen a mejorar la salud, ayuda
a expandir los vasos sanguineos a la vez que reduce la coagulacion en la sangre, por otra parte es una sustancia que constribuye a reducir el dolor y la hinchazon, asi como los niveles de azucar en la sangre.
