Don't Stop! 15 Things About Counter Strike New We're Fed Up Of Hearing
Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally announced Counter Strike New after weeks of speculation. It's a major update for CS:GO which will be bringing it on the Source 2 engine.

It also brings sub-tick server updates and responsive smoke grenades. It has got a lot of armchair gamers going crazy but it appears to be an incredible upgrade for regular players.

Counter Strike New has a massive update that will alter the way smokes are used in the game. The changes are being described as responsive smokes and are a huge game changer. Smokes will now expand to fill in spaces naturally and then move around objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting of the games, making them look more realistic. Smokes will also be able to interact with game events. This will open up new tactical possibilities. Bullets, for instance, will push smoke in order to temporarily clear sightlines. Hex grenade blasts will also disperse smoke and occlusion.

The most significant change to smokes is that they will now be a more dynamic element of the game. Smokes in previous versions were fixed-shaped objects that had a limited scope of movement and blocking. The new smokes will occupy the space they are placed and make it harder for players to see vision when they are in place. This is a major change that will make the game more dynamic and give both sides the same level of visibility.

Smokes will react to the light, weapons, and surroundings of the world. This makes smoke more realistic and give players to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This is particularly beneficial in the chaotic 5v5 games which are bound to occur on every map.

Smokes are no longer a one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO as it allowed players to see the location of their opponents from behind the smoke. Twistzz, a popular CS:GO pro, says that the new system is a huge improvement for competitive CS2 and will make it more fair for both teams.

Other minor changes include adjusting the position of smoke particles in order to minimize seeing through edges and updating spectators' smoke overlay visuals to match their camera's position. The expiration time of smokes has been revised to be more in with the visuals of how they fade onto the screen.

Loadouts

The CS:GO players can now modify their weapon selection prior the start of each match. The new loadout system allows players to select the weapons that best fit their style of play and team's strategies. The new system adds depth to the game because players must balance both power and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes numerous other improvements and changes in addition to the new loadouts. The buy menu was completely revamped. The old buy wheel was replaced by a grid that can be customized to show all the purchase options simultaneously. The grid is populated with five pistols, five "mid-tier" weapons, such as submachine guns and shotguns and five rifles and carbines.

The new system is simple to use and gives players more control over their weapon choices. They can pick the weapons that best fit their style of play, team strategy and experiment with different combinations. It will also allow them to test out their abilities against other players' loadouts and see how they compare.

Many players have praised the flexibility, while others have criticized the change for departing from the fundamental premise of Counter-Strike. They also have raised concerns about how it will impact map-specific loadouts and skins of agents that are based on visibility.

In spite of these criticisms, the new loadout system will be tested more extensively in the coming months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is essential to keep an eye out for further information.

In addition to the new CS: GO features, the new update also includes Workshop Tools that can be enabled through the game's settings menu. These tools allow community contributors to create weapon finishes, stickers, and maps. The update will also live ban players who break VAC rules during matches.

The new CS: GO update is scheduled to release later this summer. Players can now look over the full list of new features and upgrades by visiting the official CS: GO site.

Sub-Tick Updates

The world of Counter-Strike is constantly updated by the server in discrete increments of time called ticks. Valve wants to ensure that CS: GO is responsive and smooth. The smallest delay could affect the accuracy of a shot. A new video reveals the most significant improvements to the game, which is also known as sub tick updates.

Rather than an update of 64 ticks every millisecond, CS Go will now be able utilize sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. The client will record each of these tiny increments and send them to the server. The server will then transmit the updated game state back to players. The servers will know when you shot or jumped or peeked.

Although a minute-long video may not enough to fully explain everything the video explains that every piece of data sent by the client is accompanied by a time stamp, and that the server will gather all the information from all players in chronological order prior to sending it back. According to the video a CS: GO will be able send twice as much data as 64-tick CS: GO.

This means that even if the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz, the game will still be able handle your commands instantly. The micro-tick updates also reduce the time it takes to input by making sure that the server responds to your actions without any delays or glitches.

Valve's technical enhancements to the game are just the beginning. The company is using dynamic smoke and particles to improve how smoke interacts with the environment. It's also upgrading all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures, and models. All CS weapons and cosmetics will also get a makeover using Source 2 tools and features.

Maps

The new update coming to Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game along with a few classics that are being given facelifts. These updates are currently being tested as part of a limited test beta. The first set of updates includes an upgrade and a touchstone map that will not see major changes to gameplay, while other maps have been completely rebuilt or overhauled using the brand new Source 2 Tools.

Overpass is one of these maps that was revamped to benefit from the new engine's unified illumination system. The map's eerie underpass is now flooded with daylight, making the space more spacious and less crowded. In addition, smoke grenades will now expand dynamically to fill in spaces and interact with the new light.

Italy is a second map that has been overhauled. Its texture, lighting and structure have been significantly improved. The new version is more balanced than the predecessor that was heavily CT-oriented. Fans can expect more classics, such as Aztec and Militia to be updated in the near future.

Although many of these maps remain playable in other modes, they're not being added to the competitive map pool. Train is the exception, as it has been removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet announced if the other maps that were taken will be reintroduced to the pool.

Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. The newspaper's latest update has been criticized as controversial. The newspaper has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions against Ukraine. This map is based off of the conflict-ravaged Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna and includes a number references to the conflict.

In the future the developer will soon be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to use in their own creations. This will include features such as improved lighting and character read, as well as physically-based rendering that creates realistic textures, materials, and reflections. It will also make real-world objects, like doors and windows, more simple to use. The update is set to be released sometime in the summer.
