I am writing to inform you about the damages caused to our hotel property following a heavy rain and water flood incident. The extreme weather conditions resulted in significant property damage, requiring immediate action to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.

The water flood affected several areas of the hotel, including the water pump room, telephone room, server room, and ceiling areas in the offices. The water leak in the lobby area also caused damage to the interior and furnishings of the hotel. As a result of the damages, we had to cancel plenty of bookings, leading to financial losses for the hotel.

Additionally, the hotel's shuttle bus was damaged due to the flood, further adding to the property damage and financial burden. In order to accommodate our staff and ensure their safety, we had to provide temporary accommodations within the hotel premises.

I have attached all the necessary documents and evidence related to the incident, including photographs, repair estimates, and booking cancellations. We are requesting financial coverage from our insurance policy to assist in covering the costs of repairing the damages and recovering from the incident.

We understand that unforeseen events can occur, and we believe that our insurance policy should provide coverage for such situations. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your assistance in processing our property damage claim.
