James Armistead was born into slavery in Vergina 1748. Armistead enlisted in the revolution war under General Lafayette trust. He was an undercover spy at that time he was a spy, and he went to the British and said I escaped from the Americans I hate those guys and the British excepted him and he was serving an officer. While the officer was speaking the plans James told the Americans all the plans and the Americans knew where to go at what time and place and the British thought how are they doing this. So, they said we have to take them seriously now, so they wanted a spy, so they went to James Armistead, and the told him this is important I want you to be a spy, so he said OK to the British. James was a double spy, but the thing was he was on the American side, so he told the British fake news and eventually they were fighting 70 Americans, and they were Christan's. They wanted to fight for their country, and they tried to fight 700 British men and 18 Americans were down. there is black and white on their team and while they were fighting one of them shot the officer and the rest was like what do we do now, and then they flee, and the Americans won. James Armistead is in history now.
