Insert the battery you purchased into the slot. Make sure the positive (+ side) is facing upwards. You may need to press both sides of the case together. When the case is shut and the ring is removed, place it back on the case and test the key fob to verify that the buttons are working.

Transponder Flip Key Battery Replacement

Sometimes referred to as commonly referred to as "chip key" This is a type of key that has an electronic microchip built into the head of the key. The chip is a unique identification number that is matched with a special antenna in the car for it to begin.
