Effect of plant density on yield and Quality of perilla sprouts:
-High planting density improves photosynthesis and influences plant height.
-The higher the plant density, the smaller the space between plants.
-Higher plant density results in longer, thinner, and smaller leaves (higher shoot lengths).
-High planting density inhibits photosynthesis resulting in rotting seedlings.
-High planting density promotes root growth.
-High planting density influences nutritional status and light distribution in plants.
-High planting density improves shoot growth and photosynthetic efficiency, but as it increase the light reaching each plant decreases, decreasing the photosynthetic efficiency.
