The newest film from writer/director Andrew Ahn, who has become a important darling along with his latest movies Spa Night and Driveways, is a modern-day take on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice set in the New York hamlet of Fire Island Pines. Witty Noah (Booster) and nerdy Howie (Yang) have been greatest friends since they bonded as Asian-American waiters at a boozy brunch spot years in the past.
