A. Inferi
Makhluk sejenis zombie. Inferi adalah orang-orang yang telah mati tetapi dihidupkan kembali menggunakan Sihir Hitam. Penyihir-penyihir jahat seperti voldemort dan grindelwald menghidupkan kembali inferi untuk membantunya mewujudkan misinya. Pada saat teror kekuasaan Voldemort yang pertama, inferi sangat terkenal. Penyihir-penyihir yang sudah dibunuh akan diubah menjadi inferi.
Satu persatu inferi diciptakan hingga membentuk suatu pasukan. Mereka tidak memiliki rasa sakit, cinta maupun takut. Hal itu lah yang membuat inferi menjadi pasukan paling sempurna.
B. Dementor
Dementor merupakan sejenis makhluk yang ditugaskan untuk menjaga Penjara Azkaban. Dementor menghisap segala kenangan kegembiraan dan kebahagiaan seseorang hingga tinggal segala kesedihan dan ketakutan yang ada dikepala. Hal tersebut sering membuat tawanan Azkaban gila dan akhirnya bunuh diri.
Kecupan Dementor adalah istilah yang digunakan untuk merujuk pada perlakuan dementor yang menghisap jiwa seseorang sehingga jasad itu kosong atau lebih mengerikan daripada mati. Cara aman dari dementor adalah patronus.
