I have 26 days to finish this and I've gotten this far (a.k.a. ~3,170 words) in 4 days so I'd say I'm doing pretty well.

I just got the craziest idea, why Chester and Emmett are friends is because Doc had to stay at the hotel until he could get the barn because he had no other place to stay!

Now I'm nervous I'll write this scene terribly because I have zero experience with this.
On the other hand... I get to make up Chester's backstory so that's a plus.
