Climate change is about the long term shifts in weather patterns and temperatures caused by human activities such as the vast amount of fossil fuels we burn which then release greenhouses gases such as carbon dioxide and methane into the earths atmosphere creating a thicker blanket of greenhouse gases than needed which then traps more heat leading to the greatly increasing temperatures on earth. Majority of the greenhouse gases released are from electricity and heat production as well as other human activities such as the cutting down and burning of trees such as the Amazon rain forest which releases carbon dioxide, this is particularly bad for our enviroment as trees can remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and the removal of these trees only increases this. The effects of climate change effects the globe as warmer temperatures can cause droughts becoming more frequent in places such as Ethiopia which leads to malnutrition showing just how fatal climate change can be if things dont change soon.
