The Abandon:The City on the Edge of Hell
Abandon. The one constant between all universes, all dimensions. The City on the Edge of Hell. When a soul dies, it goes to Abandon, regardless of where the soul came from and what the soul did in it's life. There is no heaven, but hell most certainly exists, and Abandon is it's only gateway. It is a city where creature of all races and all eras meet. They all have one thing in common. They are very very close to eternal hell.
Abandon rests in a strange world. The planet is one constant climate and reminds Earthian visitors of the surface of Mars. There are no stars, no moons and no other planets, and yet, the landscape has weather and is lit as if it orbited a Sun. The city itself resembles 22nd century Britain, with moderate technology levels and no magic, and with a huge wall, almost 500 meters high, surrounding the entire thing. Few buildings have points that can see over this wall, and even if people do, all they see is an endless fog. It also rains a lot. In an average year, it'll be lucky to get 7 days without bad weather.Despite being inhabited by the dead and only ever lit by twilight, however, there is a low level of crime in Abandon.
The inhabitants of Abandon may come from any universe. Some universes may have had magic, some may have been under the rule of a Star-wars like empire. Same goes for time. It's not unheard of for a 500 BCE Egyptian to wake up with a 4000 ACE Space Pilot in the next bed over.If a soul dies inside Abandon, it will reincarnate as a child, since it has no where to go but back to Abandon.
Some civilians of the Abandon may not even know that they are dead, but over the course of time they slowly start regaining their memories if they already didn't know that they suffered a sad end.It is unknown to many people in the city of what's out in the unknown fog outside of the walls, those who were brave enough to ventured out into the unknown returned either badly injured or they don't even come back.Most assume the ones that they were viciously killed over and over by unknown beasts or even Demons that don't have a human disguise to cover their identities or true forms with.
Many people have heard from brave men and women that have ventured out of the city that there many dangerous things outside of the walls and that you might as well pray that you only suffer a few injuries.These Beasts are known as Akuma to most inhabitants of the city.The Akuma have no humanity at all or emotions.
Government in the Abandon:
The City can't be un-watched with no rules because that would cause total chaos through out the humongous place.So....a council was formed.The council has 40 members as it stands now, these members were chosen by each race of the Abandon.Some of the races in this large group include:
Human, Orc, Hybrid, Demon, Reaper, Neko, Vampire, Artificial Creations, Chimera, Reptilians, Aliens, Mythical Creatures (includes: Dragons,Serpents, etc), Angel/Fallen Angel, and whatever else there is in the city.This incredibly large group or council is called the Royal Hell Syndicate (R.H.S).
Currency in the Abandon:
With there being creatures of all races and eras as well as Universes living Abandon, they would have to establish a currency where all of the inhabitants would use when they walked through the crowds of people and into the market.This currency is called Kol. Kol is found on the outside of the wall and is located exactly in the soil or ground of the outskirts of the Abandon.Though with the growing amount of people arriving in the Abandon it has become more difficult to find Kol.
Recently with Scientists from an Era known as the Advancement in Technology Era had found a way to clone the currency they used.This was big accomplishment and relive for everyone in the Abandon, which in conclusion this meant that certain civilians didn't have to go further and further outside of the walls and search for Kol.
