Of course, the locals are skeptical of tourist. Fortunately, I do not think La Palma actually become "Playa de las Americas" - the geography of the isle of La Palma possibly be not put together that way. I just hope that tourism is handled sympathetically therefore the local economy will benefit and tourists can appreciate what peace this island offers, in otherwise chaotic world.
