Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The nearest airport is Taitung Airport, a 40-minute drive away from Macawu Homestay. If you have some time to kill at the Taitung train station, Beinan Archaeological Site (卑南遺址) is pretty much the only Taitung attraction that is within easy walking distance from the train station. City Super is the nicest grocery store / supermarket in Taichung in my opinion. It’s got the biggest selection of imported goods in the city. Stuff is expensive, but quality is unbeatable, especially for the veggies and deli items.
