Quidditch adalah olahraga yang menggunakan bola dan sapu terbang (broomstick) dalam permainannya. Bola yang digunakan ada 3 macam, yaitu : Quaffle, Bludger, dan Snitch.
- QUAFFLE
Bola keunguan yang bernama Quaffle memilki diameternya 12 inci, dan bentuknya seperti bola voli yang pada 3 sisinya dikempeskan. Bola ini sudah dimantrai untuk menahan gravitasi, sehingga kalau jatuh, tidak langsung terjun bebas. Selama pertandingan, Quaffle akan diperebutkan oleh 6 orang Chaser; 3 dari masing-masing tim. Setelah berhasil merebut Quaffle, Chaser harus berhadapan dengan Keeper untuk memasukkan bola itu ke gawang. Kalau masuk, 1 gol bernilai 10 points. Di DSP, sistem menangkap Quaffle dengan cara menjawab soal perkalian. Sistemnya siapa yang cepat dia dapat bisa membawa si bola besar itu.
-SNITCH (GOLDEN SNITCH)
Bola ini adalah satu-satunya yang bersayap diantara tiga macam bola Quidditch. Snitch, adalah bola yang diadaptasi dari Golden Snidget. Hal ini dikarenakan populasi Snidget yang semakin langka akibat Quidditch. Bayangkan saja, burung bulat unyu nan rapuh, digenggam dengan kasar agar tertangkap. Karena alasan itulah, Golden Snitch diciptakan. Bola ini dibuat semirip mungkin dengan Golden Snidget. Kecil, cepat, lincah, bahkan memiliki ingatan sentuh. Bola emas bersayap ini nilainya 150 points.
"Pemburu Snitch dinamakan Seeker. Di DSP, cara menangkap Snitch adalah dengan menyelesaikan clue. Jika bola ini tertangkap maka permainan selesai sudah.
> Kalau Snitch belum tertangkap dan waktu sudah habis, bagaimana?
Mudah. Kemenangan ditentukan dari jumlah points masing-masing tim
