Slot missions are a great way to acquire weapons, gear and more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring pistols in to the course of. Some players use this to aid in achieving certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to fill in a gap. It's important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it simpler to use. This combo also gives you damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it slotted.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but could be improved. It's currently designed to resemble a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, from subtle concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can be picked up at any time. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players discover different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. These planning options increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to create the perfect mission for every task.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly fill up early in the game, leading to the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are taken away or space has been accumulated. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. Since a lot of these challenges could be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to reach the most inventory slots available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. slot demo pragmatic (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to keep items that do not fit in your slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are particularly useful when you have to go through a frisk in the course of the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise trigger suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.


This DLC includes new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, head to the mission marker and identify a mob when you arrive.
