*Kalau anjing bosan biasanya akan sering menguap, seperti halnya manusia, dan mencari posisi berbaring yang enak.
*Ekor anjing berkibas artinya baik. Jangan dekati anjing apabila ekornya tegang atau diselipkan diantara kakinya, bisa-bisa digigit .
Kebalikan dengan kucing, ekor berkibas artinya "Dont touch me" atau "Leave me alone" lebih baik mendekati kucing apabila ekornya ke atas dan sedikit melengkung ke arah punggungnya.Kucing juga bisa mengedip. Kedipan ini menunjukkan rasa sayang kucing terhadap kucing lain atau bahkan terhadap manusia pemiliknya. Kucing jarang mengeluarkan suaranya, biasanya dia mengeong untuk meminta tuntutat seperti makan dan minum, perhatian, juga meminta tolong.
