Vaccination is an effective way to combat this virus and prevent its spreading among individuals. Currently, there are more than 50 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine candidates in trials; only a few of them are already in use. The primary objective of this study is to analyse the public awareness and opinion toward the vaccination process and to develop a model that predicts the awareness and acceptability of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in Saudi Arabia by analysing a dataset of Arabic tweets related to vaccination. Therefore, several machine learning models such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes (NB), and Logistic Regression (LR), sideways with the N-gram and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) techniques for feature extraction and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model used with word embedding. LR with unigram feature extraction has achieved the best accuracy, recall, and F1 score with scores of 0.76, 0.69, and 0.72, respectively. However, the best precision value of 0.80 was achieved using SVM with unigram and NB with bigram TF-IDF. However, the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model outperformed the other models with an accuracy of 0.95, a precision of 0.96, a recall of 0.95, and an F1 score of 0.95. This model will help in gaining a complete idea of how receptive people are to the vaccine. Thus, the government will be able to find new ways and run more campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of the vaccine.Comprehensively comparing the merits and demerits of the existing means of transportation across the water, a new underwater transportation structure for crossing the wide water area, named as "deep water highway tunnel" (hereinafter called "DWHT"), is proposed. To explore the possible outbreak mechanism of the local population and characterize the genetic differentiation of A. mali across different regions of China, we used three mitochondrial genes (COI, COII, and CytB) to investigate the genetic diversity and genetic structure of 17 A. mali populations containing 205 individuals collected from five Chinese provinces. Among them, nine populations were from the western Tianshan Mountains. Ultimately, of the 136 pairwise F st comparisons, 99 showed high genetic differentiation among overall populations, and Tianshan populations exhibited significant differentiation with most of the non-Tianshan populations. When the gene-environment (G×E) interaction is considered, the traditional PRS prediction model directly uses PRS to interact with the environment without considering the interactions between each variant and environment, which may lead to prediction performance and risk stratification of complex diseases are not promising. Methods We developed a method called interaction PRS (iPRS), reconstructing PRS by leveraging G×E interactions. Two extensive simulations evaluated prediction performance, risk stratification, and calibration performance of the iPRS prediction model, and compared it with the traditional PRS prediction model. Real data analysis was performed using existing data from the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian (PLCO) Cancer Screening Trial study to predict genetic susceptibility, pack-years of smoking history, and G×E interactions in patients with lung cancer. Results Two extensive simulations indicated iPRS prediction model could improve the prediction performance of disease risk, the accuracy of risk stratification, and clinical calibration performance compared with the traditional PRS prediction model, especially when antagonism accounted for the majority of the interaction. PLCO real data analysis also suggested that the iPRS prediction model was superior to the PRS prediction model in predictive effect (p = 0.0205). Conclusion IPRS prediction model could have a good application prospect in predicting disease risk, optimizing the screening of high-risk populations, and improving the clinical benefits of preventive interventions among populations.Optimum soil water availability is vital for maximum yield production in rice which is challenged by increasing spells of drought. The reproductive stage drought is among the main limiting factors leading to the drastic reduction in grain yield. The objective of this study was to investigate the molecular and morphophysiological responses of pre-anthesis stage drought stress in green super rice. The study assessed the performance of 26 rice lines under irrigated and drought conditions. Irrigated treatment was allowed to grow normally, while drought stress was imposed for 30 days at the pre-anthesis stage. Three important physiological traits including pollen fertility percentage (PFP), cell membrane stability (CMS), and normalized difference vegetative index (NDVI) were recorded at anthesis stage during the last week of drought stress. Agronomic traits of economic importance including grain yield were recorded at maturity stage. The analysis of variance demonstrated significant variation among the genotypes for most of the studied traits. Correlation and principal component analyses demonstrated highly significant associations of particular agronomic traits with grain yield, and genetic diversity among genotypes, respectively. Our study demonstrated a higher drought tolerance potential of GSR lines compared with local cultivars, mainly by higher pollen viability, plant biomass, CMS, and harvest index under drought. In addition, the molecular basis of drought tolerance in GSR lines was related to upregulation of certain drought-responsive genes including OsSADRI, OsDSM1, OsDT11, but not the DREB genes. However, not all patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) could benefit from immunotherapy due to tumor heterogeneity. The purpose of this study was to construct an immune-related signature for predicting the immune characteristics and prognosis of CRC. Methods RNA-sequencing data and corresponding clinical information of patients with CRC were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO), and immune-related genes (IRGs) were downloaded from the Immunology Database and Analysis Portal (ImmPort). Then, we utilized univariate, lasso regression, and multivariate cox regression to identify prognostic IRGs and develop the immune-related signature. Subsequently, a nomogram was established based on the signature and other prognostic factors, and its predictive capacity was assessed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) and decision curve analysis (DCA). Finally, associations between the signature and the immune characteristics of CRC were assessed.
