You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a custom storage setup for what you want to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is stylish, too. Its LED lighting is a nice addition and the inside storage bins feature an additional shelf that folds up beneath itself to make it possible to store large items. The drawers come with temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and shut however I found the plastic's textured coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place around the world. It also offers a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when doors are left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be great to have GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set the number of cups they would like to pour out. It does have an indicator on the display of the fridge to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to look like a seamless piece of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and dual compressors to preserve food. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped ice with a low use of water. This fridge is the perfect option for households with a single member or kitchenettes that want a sleek design and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed more than a fraction - this is crucial to prevent the risk of a freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the temperature it was set within a matter of hours, and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for premium appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and control your fridge from your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is pricey however, it offers excellent features and capabilities at a reasonable price.

While the fridge is a fantastic appliance but it's important to be aware of the limitations. It has a small shelf space, which means you'll need to be creative when it comes to storing large items. Also, the shelves are not sprillproof and can be easily stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the fridge. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great choice for those who require lots of space within an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized door bins on each door, two rows of spill-capture shelves, and a set of more spacious drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded down to make space for tall items. You'll also find a full width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.

The refrigerator comes with an ice maker, making it easy to move the frozen ice as needed. The freezer also features thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that can help you sort your things. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate container for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you manage the refrigerator's temperature, lighting, and more from your smartphone. It's a good way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

But while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator took longer to chill food and defrost it than the other fridges we tried. This is likely due to the bigger capacity.

The doors are another problem with this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to blend the look of a French door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the bank this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a basic design that isn't as visually striking as some of the competition but it does have enough features that make it a great pick. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you divert some of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, meaning you can store foods that need extra attention. french style fridge freezer Frydge can be adjusted using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends to have a better effect than specific ones.

In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different parts of the refrigerator. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a good performance, but it doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.


The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
