Dalam tradisi Grimoire, Demon Baal atau Bael dikatakan muncul dalam bentuk seorang pria memakai mahkota, kucing, katak, atau kombinasinya. Sebuah ilustrasi pada tahun 1818 buku Collin de Plancy ini Dictionnaire Infernal menempatkan kepala tiga makhluk ke satu set kaki laba-laba.
Arti wujud dari tiga kepala yang dimiliki oleh Baal :
* Pria memakai Mahkota merupakan indikasi gelarnya. Dia adalah salah satu raja Neraka yang berkuasa di timur. Dan pemimpin dari 66 legion iblis.
*Ada teori aneh yang Bael atau "Baal" adalah nama yang digunakan oleh suku Aztec untuk merujuk pada Reptilians. Ia digambarkan bersuara serak. Namun terdengar bagus. Seperti suara kodok.
*Sosoknya kadang digambarkan sedang menari dengan tongkat salib panjang di kedua tangan, menggambarkan orang iseng yang berbuat nakal setiap kali ada kesempatan. Dan lelucon itu, baginya, tampaknya ditujukan pada salah satu agama dan umat yang meyakininya. Baal mungkin dapat membuat lelucon, tapi dia tidak dapat dipercaya. Tidak ada rasa cinta kemanusiaan tercermin dalam dirinya. Ini merujuk pads sifat kucing yang terlihat menyenangkan tapi juga mempunyai sifat licik.
