Ini adalah tanaman fire seed bush. Atau bisa juga disebut fire seed plant. Tanaman ini hanya ada satu di green houses. Jadi kalian harus berhati - hati jika merawat tanaman ini. Beberapa tanaman ini juga tumbuh di sekitar taman pondok Hagrid dan hutan terlarang.
Kenapa disebut dengan fire seed bush? Karena tanaman ini dapat mengeluarkan bibit atau biji api yang bisa digunakan kepada musuh juga. Dan juga tanaman ini selalu tampak berapi - api karena memang harus hidup di dalam api.
Tanaman ini juga bisa digunakan untuk bahan ramuan, namun untuk mengambilnya apinya harus dipadamkan dahulu dengan freezing spell, seperti glacius. Untuk merawatnya, tanaman ini tidak disiram, melainkan kalian berikan api ke tanamannya. Jangan takut tanaman ini akan terbakar kan memang dia harus hidup dalam api. Sedangkan untuk menanamnya kita menggunakan pot kaca. Pot-pot kaca itu telah dibuat dan dimantrai agar tahan api juga sebelumnya. Memang benar alasannya jika menggunakan pot biasa, maka potnya akan terbakar. Selain itu, kaca ini jika terkena sinar matahari langsung akan memanas sehingga bisa lebih menyuburkan tanaman ini.
Tanaman ini tidak boleh sampai terkena freezing spell sebelum benar-benar 'matang', jika disiram air, apinya akan mati namun jika segera diberi fire-making spell seperti incendio dan vermillious maka ia bisa tumbuh kembali, namun bisa-bisa hasilnya kurang subur.
