The internal and external morphological configurations of roots and root canals are quite complex. Thus, several classifications have been put forth by researchers to appropriately understand the distinguishable features of root and root canal systems of multirooted teeth. Until now, the researchers have proposed new classification systems for a thorough understanding of the root canal systems, mainly concentrating on the root canal anatomy and anomalies. Moreover, with the advent of newer digital imaging systems, these classifications are more reproducible and relevant. They have further gained importance for the clinicians by acting as an aid in decision-making based on evidence-based dentistry. However, these classifications are primarily focused on the root canals, but none have assessed the anatomy of the pulp chamber floor. This review article delineates a novel Pawar and Singh molar pulp chamber floor classification© for the anatomy of maxillary and mandibular molars to ease the clinician's skills and further increase the prevailing literature for the benefit of researchers.Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a major otorhinolaryngological disease with limited effective therapeutic options. This work focused on the function of microRNA-384 (miR-384) on the NPC pathogenesis and the molecules involved. miR-384 expression in cancer tissues and cells was detected. Gain- and loss-of-functions of miR-384 were performed to identify its role in NPC progression. The target mRNA of miR-384 was predicted on an online system and validated through a luciferase reporter assay. The activity of Wnt/β-catenin signaling was detected. Consequently, miR-384 was found to be poorly expressed in NPC tissues and cell lines and was linked to unfavorable survival rates in patients. Overexpression of miR-384 in 6-10B cells suppressed growth, migration, invasion and resistance to apoptosis of cells, but inverse trends were presented in C6661 cells where miR-384 was downregulated. miR-384 targeted Smad5 mRNA. Upregulation of Smad5 counteracted the roles of miR-384 mimic in cells. The NPC-inhibiting effects of miR-384 mimic were also blocked by Wnt/β-catenin activation. To conclude, miR-384 targets Smad5 and inactivates the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, which exerts a suppressing role in NPC cell behaviors as well as tumor growth in vivo. The findings may offer novel thoughts into NPC therapy.

Lack of facile synthesis methods for precise and reproducible size and composition, however, present an extant barrier to their widespread use. Here we report the use of droplet microfluidics for the simple and highly reproducible synthesis of cadmium sulfide (CdS) and cadmium selenide (CdSe) QDs without the use of harsh solvents and in ambient conditions. Our approach uses a liquid-liquid barrier between two immiscible liquids to generate a digital droplet reactor. This reaction droplet is easily controlled and manipulated and offers enhanced mixing when coupled to a helical mixer, resulting in a significant reduction in size distribution compared to benchtop procedures. Furthermore, QD characteristics have modeled and predicted based on the parameters of the microfluidic device. We believe this method overcomes the current manufacturing challenges with synthesizing nanostructures, which is required for the next generation of nanosensors.Patients with epilepsy who have been free of seizures for at least two years may be able to stop their antiepileptic drugs. Discontinuation may be considered after an individualised harm-benefit assessment and consultation with a neurologist is recommended. It is paramount to discuss with patients whether the risk of seizure recurrence is worth the benefit of stopping the antiepileptic drug. The risk of seizure recurrence after antiepileptic drugs are discontinued depends on the epilepsy syndrome and a number of other risk factors. Approximately 30-50% of patients will relapse. If seizures recur, the majority of patients regain seizure control when treatment is resumed. However up to 20% do not achieve immediate remission.Non-valvular atrial fibrillation is becoming more common in Australia and globally The direct oral anticoagulants apixaban, dabigatran and rivaroxaban offer an improved safety profile over warfarin Patient preferences are important and shared decision-making supports better adherence to treatment.Palliative care is the province of everyone, particularly people managing older patients. Most people die of multimorbidity, frailty and dementia rather than cancer and will never see a palliative care specialist. People dying from non-malignant disease have symptoms and problems that are usually predictable. Common symptoms like pain and dyspnoea can be anticipated. Planning to prevent them, or for when they occur, is more effective than waiting until they happen. Deprescribing is an effective way of preventing morbidity in this group. Getting to know a few medicines well for each symptom is important when providing palliative care for patients. Starting at low doses and increasing slowly is also key.A recent global outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led to massive supply chain disruption, resulting in difficulties for manufacturers on recovering their supply chains in a short term. This paper presents a supply chain disruption recovery strategy with the motivation of changing the original product type to cope with that. In order to maximize the total profit from product changes, a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model is developed with combining emergency procurement on the supply side and product changes by the manufacturer as well as backorder price compensation on the demand side. The model uses a heuristic algorithm based on ILOG CPLEX toolbox. Experimental results show that the proposed disruption recovery strategy can effectively reduce the profit loss of manufacturer due to late delivery and order cancellation. It is observed that the impact of supply chain disruptions is reduced. The proposed model can offer a potentially useful tool to help the manufacturers decide on the optimal recovery strategy whenever the supply chain system experiences a sudden massive disruption.
Case of lipemia retinalis secondary to hyperchylomicronemia in a 40-year-old man with a history of total body irradiation and immunosuppressive treatment that was attended in this hospital due to decreased visual acuity and abdominal pain.
Hyperchylomicronemia caused the development of acute pancreatitis and lipemia retinalis. The latter is an infrequent ocular manifestation that reflects excessive triglyceride blood levels in the organism (>2,000 mg/dL). Lipemia retinalis is characterized by the accumulation of chylomicrons in the retinal vessels, which gives them a white and creamy appearance in direct retinal ophthalmoscopy. The initial clinical suspicion of hyperchylomicronemia was based on the visualization of the supernatant in the analytical tube.
In the absence of definitive biochemical results, and owing to the need for special processing of the sample, lipid-lowering treatment and serum therapy were established after ophthalmological confirmation of lipemia retinalis, with subsequent full recovery of visual acuity.
Given the initial difficulty to determine the accurate triglyceride levels in this kind of patient, early visualization of milky-colored retinal vessels on a salmon-colored eye fundus can help develop an early clinical suspicion of severe hyperchylomicronemia and contribute to limit the severity of complications.

32-month-old boy, IgG positive for SARS-CoV-2, presented to the emergency department with dermatologic lesions.
Four days before admission, he presented skin eruptions with redness and pruritus on hands and feet. Generalized papular erythema was evidenced, upper extremities with diffuse erythematosquamous plaques, palmoplantar keratoderma, so he was evaluated by a dermatologist who diagnosed pityriasis rubra pilaris.
rehydrating cream, cetirizine 0.5 mg/kg/day every two days, and prednisolone 2 mg/kg/day in the morning. He was discharged after 14 days, the patient presented clinical improvement, but the erythematous lesion persisted on the trunk and extremities. In the evaluation, after three months, the patient did not show the described lesions, evidencing an improvement and clinical resolution of the dermatological problems.
We report a patient with pityriasis rubra piloris associated with a post-infection by SARS-CoV-2 that had not been described before.

Through the culture of thinness, increasingly promoted in our society as a beauty canon, it is not surprising that the number of people affected by eating disorders is increasing.
This research aims to study the relationship between non-suicidal self-injuries and nuclear aspects of eating disorders specified along with this article.
The sample consisted of 60 women diagnosed with anorexia and bulimia. Questionnaires assessing impulsivity, body satisfaction, alexithymia, body attitude and self-esteem were administered. Participants with non-suicidal self-harm were compared with those without it, and participants with anorexia with and without self-harm and participants with bulimia with and without self-harm were compared.
Differences were found in body dissatisfaction= 5.71;
≤0.01), body attitudes= 4.80;
≤0.02), self-esteem= 14.09;
≤0.00) and impulsivity (t= 3.39;
≤0.01) between participants with and without non-suicidal self-harm.
These are key factors for the clinical area in the treatment of eating disorders to prevent the presence of self-harm, as it allows focusing the treatment target on those aspects such as dissatisfaction and impulsivity, which are key in the development of self-harm.
