Satu hari yang panas dan kering Hana melihat Pak Amir menggelengkan kepalanya saat dia berdiri di dekat petak bunganya.
"Seseorang merusak semua bungaku," katanya. "Aku selesai menyirami bungaku. Ketika aku pergi untuk menyimpan selangnya, seseorang berjalan masuk dan menginjak bunga-bungaku."
"Siapa yang akan melakukan hal yang jahat seperti itu?" Tanya Hana.
Pak Amir menghela napas. "Seseorang yang suka merusak tentunya."
"Aku sedang menuju ke mall sekarang. Mungkin nanti aku bisa bantu untuk mencari tahu siapa yang melakukannya," kata Hana padanya. Tak lama ia melihat tiga gadis bermain jingkat. Dia memutuskan untuk berhenti dan melihat bagaimana mereka melompat-lompat melewati garis-garis kapur.
Ani harus melompat sangat hati-hati karena tali sandal sebelah kirinya rusak.
Hera melompat perlahan. Dia memakai sepatu kets ungu yang tampak usang. Hera tampak lusuh, juga.
Dina melompat yang paling cepat, walapun alas sepatu joging putihnya penuh dengan lumpur kering.
"Apa kamu ingin ikut bermain?" Tanya Hera.
"Oh tidak, aku harus pergi berbelanja," kata Hana padanya. Lalu ia teringat sesuatu. Seketika itu tahu siapa yang merusak bunga-bunga Pak Amir.
